2) How does this blog relate to the YSpaceSMC.org website? 

The goal of the YSpaceSMC.org website is to promote good health and provide information about creating healthier communities. The blog furthers this goal by allowing visitors to the website to interact with each other and share information about these topics.  

3) What can I post on this blog?

You can post information on healthy eating and physical activity or stories on how you and your friends are helping to make your community healthier.  Please share it with others! See our policy on how to be a blogger.  

4) Can I make comments or suggestions?

5) How long before my comments are approved?

After you make a comment it must first be approved by the blog administrator. The administrator ensures the comment is appropriate and does not contain any offensive or false material. This can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours, so please be patient. We’ll get it up as quickly as we can. Once approved, your comment will be posted on the blog and visible by everyone.

The Get Healthy San Mateo County (GHSMC) Task Force is made up of different community members and health professionals interested in making San Mateo County a healthy place for everyone, especially children and youth.  The GHSMC Task Force developed the YSpaceSMC.org website as a resource for young people to get information on healthy eating, physical activity, and ways to help create healthier communities.  The youth blog was created to ensure that young people have a way of sharing and expressing their ideas and thoughts about these topics.  Check out their website or contact them at info@gethealthysmc.org.
